Image Description
This landscape drawing shows the Bode Valley in the Harz Mountains. It is drawn with a brush pen (black ink) on paper. As a template served a photo that I took on vacation on site. This template I have printed out and pasted behind the paper. Thus I could recognize the outlines dimly. The drawing challenge was to find and draw intuitively, quickly and without reflection, black dots or lines of varying thickness. E is therefore exactly the exact observation (in the sense of a staring) - ultimately as with the Impressionists, with the small but subtle difference that my visual view was not in front of nature, but in front of a light table. Especially the water at the bottom of the drawing was exhausting in the sense of discipline.
