After the Schiller sketch now a real watercolour portrait of Friedrich Schiller. Painted with Horadam watercolors by Schmincke on Torchon handmade paper by Hahnemühle. This version I have made lighter from the beginning. Only through the second level of light points the picture gains in luminosity and colorfulness.
Today I had the idea to paint watercolors, which are painted extremely lavishly on watery ground. The optical effect could then be similar to what I see when I take off my glasses.
